Personal History of Martin Nodell is unknown.
Professional History
Martin Nodell (November 15th, 1915 - December 9th, 2006) was an illustrator for National Periodical Publications. He is most widely recognized for creating the original Golden Age Green Lantern. Outside of comics, Martin also created other recognizable icons including the Exxon tiger and the Pillsbury Doughboy. Martin wrote a lot of his Green Lantern material under the pen name, Mart Dellon. Martin Nodell passed away at a nursing home in Muskego, Wisconsin at the age of 91.
