Star Sapphire and her/their signature color
What's up with Star Sapphire Corps (and related articles) and Violet Lantern Corps? What's the distinction, if any? The Paradox 09:17, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
- I think they're the same thing. I'll try to check the GL comics and see. Anybody else?
- Roygbiv666 01:08, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- According to User:Salubri: "In fact yes the Star Sapphire Corps and Violet Lantern Corps are one in the same. The apparent name is Star Sapphire Corps kinda similar to the Sinestro Corps. It seems the only ones named after the color of the lanterns are the blue, red, green, and black whether or not the indigo and orange will go by a generic name is unknown. Star Sapphires are so named due to the history with the Star Sapphire crystal and all, they just made a corps out of a power they already had access to. So naturally Star Sapphire Corps was the next step. Their rings and lanterns are made from that crystal."
- I'll double check it. If accurate, looks like we might have some redirects in our future.

- Checked Green Lantern Corps Vol 2 29 - looks violet to me. I updated the entries to point to Star Sapphire Corps in keeping with the Sinestro Corps precedence.

Khepri or Scarabaeus
http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Khepri
i am not sure if it is classified as a item or that i have chosen the right name for it
there is even a possiblity that http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Ammon-Ra_(New_Earth) is the same thing. Ouroborosi 12:03, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Captain marvel
Okay, I give up - who is the current Captain Marvel? Freddy Freeman? Roygbiv666 17:35, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yes. That was the focus of Trials of Shazam. Billy Batson is now doing Shazam's old job.
- - Billy Arrowsmith (Talk), 17:54, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

- I thought he was going by Shazam, not Captain Marvel. The Paradox 19:49, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Albert Michaels (New Earth)
How are we dealing with this one? Pre-Crisis he was a Superman Villain, so should there be an Earth-One version and a New Earth version? If we're going with only one, then his first appearance is off by about 12 years.
The Paradox 22:28, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
- I should think so, yes. Superman is actually one of the easier franchises to distinguish, since nearly everyone involved with his mag has pre and post-Crisis counterparts (Except Jenet Klyburn. Can't really justify two different pages for her. Wiley little minx). --Brian Kurtz 14:35, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

- Google Translator tells me that that means "Time, What Have You Done For Me?". I checked around, but couldn't find anything matching that exactly, although it's extremely possible that such a thing's name would've been changed for the language barrier. Perhaps if you could provide us with an idea of the content, or a cover scan, we would be more able to help you?

Featured Articles
Where does discussion about Featured Articles usually take place (assuming that there is a centralized location...)?
The Paradox 22:45, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- Supposedly in the Voting Booth, but there are a lot of pages that don't get used. Maybe we should have more graphics that relate to the sections - like say, clicking on the picture of a voting booth, take you to the voting booth. the pix might make things stand out a bit better?
- Roygbiv666 23:25, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- I was aiming for a site header similar to that found on the DCAU Wiki, one that appears on every page, but your's would be a much easier to implement idea. The Paradox 00:08, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Greco-Roman deities
Is there a Wonder Woman fan in the house? Particularly one with knowledge of the in-universe pantheon with which she is associated?

Major Bummer?
I don't know anything about this title. Does this book take place in mainstream continuity, or is it separate from the greater DCU?
Brian Kurtz 23:24, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- Probably meant to occur in some little bywater of the DCU, so it doesn't have to be acknowledged as canon until some writer years from now makes reference to it or brings in one of the characters. The Paradox 02:47, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Just where the heck IS the Fortress of Solitude anyway?
This is starting to frazzle my nerves. Is it in the North Pole or Antarctica? I've seen comics that put it in both places. I don't even think the writers know for sure. And by Fortress of Solitude, I'm talking 'bout the normal crystal-lattice Fortress, not those other surrogate forts he hung out in.
Brian Kurtz 23:27, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- On Earth-One it was located in the frozen north (Artic). Post-Crisis, it started out in Antarctica, then moved to the Andes, and has now apparently been reconstructed back in the frozen north. There have also been other, less known Fortresses scattered around, in both E-Two, E-One and New Earth continuities. The Paradox 23:59, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- So if I'm understanding correctly:
- 1st fortress built by the Eradicator = Antarctica.
- Recent Fortress that looks like the one from the movies = North Pole
(This will really help in terms of accuracy for comic issue listings). --Brian Kurtz 13:23, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yup, that sounds about right. The Paradox 19:45, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Barry Allen
Where is Barry allen since Coie ?
Mc62 20:12, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Supposedly in the Speed Force. There's a bit of info in his entry.

Tom Nicolosi
My Father was Tom Nicolosi. As crazy as I know this sounds, my family did not keep so much as a single comic book from our child hood. My dad passed away some years ago and I am hoping some one out there can give me the name and specific comic book number of a few of the comics my dad colored. I would like to purchase some to pass on to my kids.
Thanks for any info you can provide.

- A few are listed here and here. Good luck.

Khufu
Any ideas on categorizing this?
