Professional History
Irv Novick (1916-2004) was an artist and inker for DC Comics. During the 1950s and 60s he often collaborated with friend and editor Robert Kanigher on DC's various war-related titles such as G.I. Combat and Our Fighting Forces.
Prior to working at DC, Irv was the illustrator for the first American patriotic super-hero, the Shield. [1]
